Restaurant
Hood Systems
Being well-equipped to deal with
kitchen fire hazards in a restaurant or cooking facility is
more important than ever before. With recent developments in
commercial cooking, cooking equipment is now being manufactured
with more efficient burners, which generate higher heating rates.
In addition, cooking facilities have seen an increase in using
vegetable oil versus animal fats, and many have added fryers
with a slower cooling rate which result in an increased risk
of re-flash in the event of a fire.
All of these factors underscore the importance of having a hood
system installed, maintained and inspected regularly. In accordance
with NFPA 17 and State Fire Codes, Shoreline Fire will come
to your facility to maintain and inspect your hood suppression
system on the required semiannual basis.
The types of systems we carry are:
|
|
Ansul |
|
|
Pyrochem |
|
|
Kidde |
Based on your specific needs, we will determine which type of
system would best work for you. Please call or email us today
for more information.

Emergency
Lighting
Ensure the safety of you
and your patrons by making sure your Emergency Lighting is functioning
properly.
Emergency Lighting provides lighting in corridors, stairwells,
ramps, escalators, aisles, and exit passageways during power
outages. If your emergency lights fail to operate properly,
the building occupants can become disoriented.
Routine maintenance of Emergency Lighting is frequently overlooked
until an emergency occurs and then it is too late. Regular
maintenance is required by NFPA (National Fire Protection Agency).
Shoreline Fire will bring your emergency lighting system to
compliance with OSHA and fire code standards. We can inspect
your system and supply it with the proper replacement batteries
and bulbs, to ensure your facility is a safe one.
Please call
or email
us today to schedule an inspection of your emergency lighting.
